Creative Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Creative Operations Coordinator who excels in multitasking (but can focus on one project at a time), possesses strong administrative skills, enjoys manufacturing, is highly skilled with their hands, and has a creative eye for design. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the creative team and ensuring smooth operations within our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Creative Project Coordination:

    • Assist in coordinating and managing creative projects from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements, communicate timelines, and ensure smooth workflow and efficient project execution.

    • Coordinate with external vendors and freelancers when necessary to fulfill project requirements.

  • Hands-On Tasks:

    • Utilize your exceptional manual dexterity and practical skills to assist with various hands-on tasks, such as assembling prototypes, setting up displays, or conducting small-scale repairs.

    • Support the team in creating physical mock-ups, models, or samples as needed.

  • Office Administration:

    • Manage daily administrative tasks such as answering calls, creating job dockets, scheduling appointments, organizing deliveries, and completely various day to day tasks.

    • Maintain accurate records and files, both physical and digital, to ensure efficient documentation and information retrieval.

  • Graphic Design Support:

    • Collaborate with the creative team to create visually appealing designs for marketing materials, presentations, and other company collateral.

    • Use graphic design software and tools to produce high-quality designs that align with the organization's brand guidelines.

    • Edit and modify existing designs as needed, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

       

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in office administration and coordination.

  • Proficiency in graphic design software and tools (e.g., Corel Draw, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks one after another.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • A keen eye for design aesthetics and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated manual dexterity and practical skills.

  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and a self-starter mindset.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Please note that the plan is to start with 30hrs per week and then increase to 40hrs as capabilities are proven (within a 3 month window)

  • This position is based at our office and does not offer work-from-home arrangements.
